Update Feb.15, 2022
Hi friends.
I wanted to first extend gratitude to those who have supported me on this platform in such a short amount of time. Writing is my everything, the art I always come back to — what I want to eventually make my career.
If you read my last article, you’d know I moved to New York City. In order to live here, I need to work full-time, at my employer. I am trying desperately to find a work-from-home gig, but they are a lot harder to snag than I anticipated.
After being up by 4 AM every day, until I go to sleep around 8 or 9PM, I have no energy to write within my first week of being here. I am, however, getting into a routine and have a few topics outlined that I’d like to publish soon. I have an interview to for a publication on Saturday. It is unpaid, but it is a publication — labor of love at its finest.
I will never abandon writing as it has never abandoned me. I will continue to write. I did not want someone to visit this page and see I became inconsistent. Life is very difficult, complex, unpredictable, but I enjoy every bit of those aspects it presents to me. I am loving New York, and I am finding inspiration in every crevice of this city.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am hoping to have a piece on escapism by Saturday night. I am sending you much love.
